The TPEA journal, Technology, Pedagogy and Education, is calling for Early Career Researchers to submit their emerging research studies to a Special Issue.

This issue will focus on making the publication process as transparent as possible and supporting new authors to develop quality research articles according to best practice manuscript preparation and peer review guidelines.

If you are a current PhD candidate or within 7 years of the award of your PHD and will be the first author on an article, you may be eligible to submit. You can have other researchers as co-authors but must be the lead author on the article.

The scope of the special issue is broadly the intersection of technology, pedagogy and education, with each accepted article meeting the aims of the journal. As with all submissions to the journal, these special issue papers will be subject to rigorous peer review, with a particular effort to provide constructive feedback and guidance on how to address reviewers’ comments. Each accepted paper will have a clear rationale and research aim, rigorous methods with findings presented and discussed, including how the research contributes to the field of technology, pedagogy and education.

Special issue papers will be presented in a dedicated issue and published online as they are accepted. This means that we will not wait for all papers to be accepted before publication, which ensures your research is published online quickly.
