Our Conference...
At our 2026 conference, we will be celebrating 40 years since the founding of TPEA as ITTE – the association of Information Technology in Teacher Education. The conference will be an opportunity to look back at what we have learnt over 40 years of research and practice in using technology in education and also to look forward to next steps for technology, pedagogy and education. Thanks to our generous sponsors at Taylor Francis, the conference will be subsidised for TPEA Members+ and we will also offer a number of travel and accommodation bursaries to support attendance.
The conference will include a number of keynotes, panels and presentations – come back to find out more details as we launch our Call for Papers very soon!
Conference Venue – University of Northampton
This year’s TPEA Annual Conference will be held at the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus on Thursday 25th June 2026. The venue is easily accessible from Northampton Train Station and in walking distance of the city centre. More information about the campus.
The conference will be followed by the free Merged Futures Tech Innovation Showcase on Friday 26th June.

Tickets for the 2026 TPEA Annual Conference will be available shortly. Discounts will be available for anyone with an individual Members+ subscription (sign up here for only £40), up to 5 individuals at an institution with an institutional membership, and all Honorary members.
Your ticket includes access to all sessions, lunch and refreshments on Thursday 25th June.
TPEA Travel and Accommodation Bursaries
We want to remove the barriers for members to attend and contribute to our conference so, this year TPEA is offering a number of bursaries to support those who wish to attend our conference.
Details of the bursary will be announced shortly. Bursaries will be paid after the conference and all spending will need to be justified with receipts.
